BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma's statement insulting the Prophet Muhammad has embarrassed India in the eyes of the world. According to the international media, it was a failure on the part of the BJP leadership and the central government to bring to the international level an issue that could have been trivialized.

Despite the cover-ups of Modi-loving media in India, well-known media houses, including the BBC, have brought the truth to the world.

Countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Iran have officially informed India of the protest. According to international media reports, a campaign calling for a boycott of Indian products and expulsion of Indians is on the rise on social media in many Islamic countries.

The issue has gone out of the hands of the BJP and the central government. Many countries are demanding that India formally apologize. Saying sorry would be a shame not in history. If you do not apologize, the problem will get worse. The Government of India is in a situation between the devil and the sea.

The BJP leadership, which has been blindly supporting the idiots they call out, has now suffered a major setback by placing the victims of Islamophobia in responsible positions.

When riots broke out in Gujarat and thousands of Muslims were killed, then-Chief Minister Narendra Modi said that there would be an equal and opposite reaction to any action. That is what the world is saying to India now.

It is Narendra Modi and his party that have brought this country to such a precarious state. This is having a severe effect on the inability of the Central Government to stop the religious fanatics who have been searching for the Shiva lingam in all the churches. The Indian people need to realize that this country will have to pay a heavy price if the Central Government is not able to resolve the issue amicably and imprison those who spread hatred.

The BJP governments in Uttar Pradesh and Assam, which have bulldozed the houses of protesting believers, have also embarrassed India in the eyes of the world. Peace will prevail in this country if the Indian government and the ruling party are willing to listen to the accusations of the world media and political observers that democracy and the rule of law are not being protected in India.

Let us hope that the Gulf countries do not make a formal decision to boycott Indian products and deport Indians.

One can only hope that the BJP leadership will be able to understand that India belongs to Indians and is not the private property of any political party or religion.
